The college has hosted four UGC-Sponsored national Seminars; in the Department of History (21-22 January, 2012), in the Department of Philosophy (6-7 March, 2012), in the Department of Geography (7-8 February, 2017) and in the Department of Political Science (22-23 February, 2017) one each in every department. The department of Geography and Political Science published one Seminar Proceedings each under the editorship of Dr. Tanusree Ghosh in the dept. of Geography and Prof. Nirmal Kumar Sahoo in the dept. of Political Science respectively in the year 2017.
